Rose of Sharon is noted for its profuse bloom of gorgeous double flowers. 'Sugar Tip' is also known to have a slower growth rate than other Rose of Sharon. This shrub is low maintenance, highly adaptable to most soil conditions, very tolerant of heat and humidity, and lends its bright color to landscapes all Summer long. This shrub is excellent for mixed borders, flowering hedges, privacy screens or as a single specimen/focal point.
